Our Goal

The goal of FirstXaris is to help people in sorrow due to loss and life transitions through counseling, education and resources.

 Individual and Family Counseling

Counseling for individuals and families is offered through FirstXaris.  Weeknight and Saturday morning appointments are available. Issues such as: Divorce care, anger management, grief, self-esteem, problem solving, children and adolescence, caregiving, crisis counseling, practical advice, relationships, and many others can be over-whelming at times, especially when one feels that one is dealing with these troubles alone.

 Your issues will be addressed with prayer, Biblical reflection, spiritual direction and straight-forward answers.

Support Groups and Workshops

Many issues can be initially addressed in a group setting. Along with others who are dealing with similar issues, such as: the death of a loved one, divorce, caregiving, or parents of ADD and ADHD children, groups and workshops are good tools that move you toward healing. Check our schedule to see if any groups are meeting in your area.

 No Fees

There is no charge for FirstCare counseling services.  It is supported by Parson’s Porch & Company. 

Counselor

Dr. David R. Tullock serves as FirstXaris’ primary counselor.  Dr. Tullock has distinguished himself as an effective Christian counselor using Biblical stories and humor with clear and concise direction for his clients.  His experience extends over 30 years, primarily serving Southeast Tennessee.  He lives in Cleveland, Tennessee with his wife and three children.   For more information about Dr. Tullock, you may find it at www.tullock.net.
